Hi everyone! I’m Amanda and I’m going into my fourth year as a Wildlife Ecology and Conservation major at UF. I grew up in New Jersey near the beach and made my way down to Florida to attend UF. I joined Wahines my freshman year having never tried any board sports before. Now I have tried surfing, long boarding, and snowboarding. Wahines gave me the confidence to try so many new sports that I was too timid to attempt alone. The supportive unit of girls in this club have changed my college experience for the better. As President I hope I can help other girls find their confidence too!

Aloha! I'm Heather and I'm a second year marketing major. I grew up on the east coast of Florida 5 minutes away from the beach. I love traveling and trying new board sports. WOW is the reason I got into skateboarding and inspired me to try wakeboarding and surfing. This club has introduced me to an amazing and supportive group of girls I couldn't imagine college without.
ANDREANNA HARDY

Hi everyone! I’m a second year business major, and love all things surfing, wakeboarding and skating. I love shredding boards, making a fool of myself, and having a fun time with the rad ladies of WOW. (Seriously, these are the most fun and encouraging group of women i’ve had the pleasure of knowing.) Aside from board sports, I love fashion, photography, sustainability, travel, and LeBron James. I’m stoked for this bangin’ year and can’t wait to watch WOW grow! Yew!

Hi my name is Gabby and I am secretary of Wahines. I got involved with this club my freshman year to surround myself with amazing girls with similar interests, but didn't know that those same girls would quickly become my closest friends. I am so thankful for this club and the never ending encouragement that we all give each other to try new things and improve at the things we already love. I am so stoked for next year and can't wait to see how Wahines grows in the future.

Alooooha everyone!! I’m Allie, a freshman at UF with a major in marine sciences! I spent my first two years of high school in Hawaii and my last two in Puerto Rico, so I have learned many ways to have fun in the water! In Hawaii, my primary sport was outrigger canoe racing, the team state sport of Hawaii! When I moved to Puerto Rico, I got highly involved in stand-up paddle board racing, doing races ranging anywhere from 5 to 14 miles! I have been surfing for the past 4.5 years and absolutely love it. I’m stoked to have the opportunity to share the passion I have towards the ocean with other wahines!

YOOOOOO!! What’s up!? My name is Morgan and I am a 4th year Pre-med Bio major. I spent my entire childhood doing gymnastics and when I came to college, I wanted to try something new! I had always loved longboarding and stumbled across this awesome club and fell in love with wakeboarding. I had never been on a wakeboard until my freshman year and now it is my absolute favorite thing to do in my free time! I’m an avid traveler and adventure junkie! This club has introduced me to the raddest girls on campus & brought me on so many adventures, HIT ME UP AND LET’S GO RIDEEEEE!!!

Hey ladies! My name is Marielle, I’m a Chemical Engineering senior from Costa Rica and I’m so stoked to be your skate coach! My first board sport was actually wakeboarding, but I fell in love with skateboarding through WOW. It’s so accessible, fun, and empowering, especially when there’s a WOW takeover at the park with a big girl squad. I am always down to go for a cruise or hit the skate park, so feel free to message me if you ever want a skate buddy.

Hey Wahines! I’m Clary and I’m a third year Civil Engineering major. I grew up in south Florida which naturally made my ultimate favorite place to be anywhere near the ocean! The waves there were never big enough to surf so when I heard about this club last semester, joining was definitely the best move to make surfing happen. Surfing my first wave last semester was incredible, and now I even learned how to snowboard too! WOW has helped girls like me try board sports that I would have never tried alone. Wahines help each other out, and give each other the confidence to go out and try new sports and nothing feels better than that!

Hey my name is Taylor and I’m super excited to be co-surf coach with Allie! Surfing is so much fun and I want to make sure that everyone gets a chance to try it because it will change you life! Wahines is so amazing because it brings together so many girls that love boards sports and want to learn and get better together, so let’s hit the beach! I am also your social chair this year! Events are a great way for use to come together as a club and have a lot of fun together. I really want to get more events on the calendar this year, so if you have ideas please reach out to me because I want to make this year so much fun and include everyone’s ideas! I look forward to a great year with some great girls!

Hey y’all! I’m Anna and I am a sophomore here at UF majoring in Nutritional Sciences for Pre-med. I was born and raised in BFE, SC. I joined WOW my freshman year, which greatly impacted my life in the best way possible! It introduced me to an amazing community of females and help me establish many wholesome relationships, which I didn’t have coming from out of state. I came into WOW only knowing how to wakeboard. However, through WOW I’ve learned how to longboard, skate, snowboard, paddle board, and surf. Our girls are all for teaching and supporting their fellow WOW ladies. I love chatting about board sports so don’t be afraid to come up and talk to me :)
